The staff here is amazing. I come here sometimes twice a year every year. I've tent camped and more recently began renting the cabins. The premium cabins are really nice. The best one is the Tamarack. It's a beautiful place to get out into nature and close to Sacramento. Lots of stuff for kids too. Pool, lake, pool table, ice cream shop, baseball field, volleyball. Just a really great place to camp.
Beautiful surroundings, a lovely lake and wonderful pool made for an ideal family vacation for my husband, myself, our daughter and her family of two young children. Our cabin, Willow, was much better than expected and reasonably priced. It …
Lake Francis is one of the cleanest campgrounds I have ever been to. There was lots to do, we rented kayaks and swam in the pool. The kids enjoyed the fishing and we ended the day with ice cream. We will definitely be back
Our campsite was $85/night. The pool was out of order. The bathrooms were out of order. The ice cream shop wasn’t open. There were port a potties and they were clean but at $85/night I was expecting some amenities. The lake was beautiful, we had fun kayaking and there’s an island in the middle of the lake with a rope swing. It was fun but way too expensive for what we got.
My kids attend camp at Lake Francis Resort every Summer and have a blast! The cabins are cute and perfect for groups. There are tons of activities and spots to hang out.
It's pretty, the lake is fun, they have a lot of things to do and rent, basketball, soccer ball skimming pool. Free showers, I gave it 3 stars because the campsite are all super close together and they do not enforce the curfew, super loud music and partiers screaming until 3am we had to go buy earplugs to get sleep. Also, C1 is a horrible spot right under the street lamp so it's daylight in your tent all night.
So, let me start off by saying that we have camped at Lake Francis in years past and always had a good experience. This trip just left me shaking my head. On the email it said that check in was at 4 pm so we ended up going to Oregon Creek …
Great spot to go for the day with lots of amenities. The only thing I would say is that the bathrooms at the campground need to be serviced more often--they ran out of toilet paper and one of the toilets got blocked up.
